Princess Corinne

Corinne is a good-hearted and caring princess who has an everlasting love for literature and nature.

Corinne naturally has a pale complexion despite spending long hours in the gardens during summer as she often carries a parasol. Below her lower lip is a small scar which upon further examination seems to resemble a heart. She has large doe eyes of a gentle teal colour that light up when she smiles, which also reveals a dimple in her left cheek. Her hair is a soft brown with odd streaks of pale blonde which although are bizarre she embraces.

She often wears clothes which sport a range of spring tones and compliment her pale skin. Corinne likes floral patterns and soft colours, which are found in her dresses and her room. She usually wears simplistic jewellery, despite being a princess, such as a thin necklace with a small pendant of forget me not flowers.

Corinne is kind hearted and sweet to all. Most describe her to lighten their day and have a wonderful charm to be around. She has an inviting energy and is as soft and gentle as her appearance.

However, Corinne can easily get nervous in certain situations. Leading to her resorting to her habit of twirling her hair anxiously. When nervous, she often avoids eye contact and bites the inside of her cheek as a way to redirect her mind.

Occasionally she can appear naive, but she is an intelligent woman. She is literate and well educated, and is able to clearly think for herself and make smart judgements on people.

She loves reading and has an endless range of books which she never tires from. During winter she is most likely to be found cosied up by a crackling fire with a book and hot tea. She is also fond of poems, which often depict feelings of love and joy. Corinne has a bursting love for flowers and tends to an abundance of them in the castle gardens. During spring and summer she is rarely away from the gardens and misses them when she has to leave.

Corinne dislikes gloomy and cold weather, though still attempts to make the best out of it. She does not enjoy being around rude mannered or blatantly obnoxious people.

Corinne grew up in the comfort of her palace with her loving family. They lived peacefully, enjoying each others company and their long days spent together. Naturally conflict amongst the happy family occurred, she got into several arguments with her sister over her flowers however they still loved each other dearly.

Unfortunately, war struck up when she was a young girl and her father had to go to battle. The few months of anxiousness seemed to last forever as she waited her father’s return. As if a miracle, he returned with only scars to tell the tale. The family’s life continued as it had been previously, without trouble and worry.

When Corinne’s older sister turned 20 she was married into another family, however Corinne was happy for her and she was glad her sister was living a joyous life outside the castle. She began to wonder who she would marry and when, though in the meantime she continued to read and tend to her flowers.
